Overseas Health Coverage (OSHC)
​In Australia, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is a mandatory requirement for student visa holders, unless an exception applies. OSHC helps you easily access medical services while you are in Australia. Domestic students are not required to hold OSHC.

Allianz is APIC's OSHC provider. ​If a commencing student requests APIC arranges for their OSHC the policy will be ordered following the census date of the student's first study period. Allianz then emails the policy document directly to the student.

​Some students choose to arrange their own OSHC. For students who choose another OSHC provider will a range of resources that may be similar to the below. Students can always contact Student Services for guidance on accessing the resources of their OSHC provider.
Allianz's MyHealth App and Contact Points
​Allianz's MyHealth App allows students to manage their OSHC policy and access their digital membership card. Students with Allianz OSHC can submit claims, view your policy information plus much more.
